Humanitarian Media Center Continues Training Female Journalists on GBV Responsive Media Coverage

The Humanitarian Media Center (HMC) continues to deliver its training program on “GBV Responsive Media Coverage” within the framework of the “Her Voice is Power” project, involving 18 female journalists, including both graduates and students from media faculty in Marib.

The second day featured practical workshops and interactive discussions focusing on media ethics and the development of human interest stories, coupled with hands-on training in analyzing journalistic content and producing more sensitive and equitable coverage.

Participants expressed strong enthusiasm for applying the skills gained from the training to make the voices of women and girls affected by violence heard and their rights are advocated for. HMC emphasized that this training marks a significant step toward fostering responsible humanitarian journalism that upholds justice and equality.
